NEW YORK CITY-- This week in the Fan Cave was interesting to say the least. It was a slightly less hectic week, but it was not without its interesting happenings.

As you are probably aware of at this point, we said goodbye to a couple of Cave Dwellers this week. Eddie (Yankees fan) and Ben (Athletics fan) were eliminated from the competition. Thanks to you, I staved off elimination to continue living out my dream in the Fan Cave. There are only seven Dwellers left, and the eliminations will only get tougher from here. Please keep the votes coming my way.

One of the coolest things that happened this week was that George Brett teamed up with his favorite BBQ joint in Kansas City (Meat Mitch), and he smoked the Fan Cave Dwellers up some ribs in his back yard! He sent the ribs to us in NYC. They were unbelievable!

Here is the video of Brett and Mitch cooking the ribs for us.
Here is the Cave Dwellers response thank you video.

Here are the blogs that I contributed to the MLB Fan Cave site this week! Please give them a quick read, and leave a comment!

-A Couple of Tugs and a Leadership Lesson
-Surprise Teams of 2012
-Heroes on and off the Field
-Debate: Cardinals or Phillies

Here are some of the great people that I was fortunate enough to meet this week:
-Charlie Manuel (Philadelphia Phillies Manager)
-Shane Victorino (Philadelphia Phillies CF)
-Kevin Brown (Dot Com from "30 Rock")
-Johnny Bench (Cincinnati Reds Hall of Famer)

As always, baseball is my #1 love and #1 focus while here in the Cave, but I always keep track of what goes on with the Thunder. I am unbelievably happy to see that they battled back, defended home court!

I have a challenge for all of you this week: I need your help getting more followers on twitter and fans on facebook! Social media following and influence plays a big role in who gets to stay here in the Cave, so the more we have the better!

Here are a few ways that you could help:

-Ask your twitter followers to follow me (@KyleOKC)
-Ask your facebook friends to "like" my fanpage
-Ask your followers and friends to do the same
-Try and get entities that have big followings to support me in the Fan Cave

As always, thank you so much for your support and positivity. I cannot wait to update you again on everything that happens next week.
