Enid Police Arrest Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Girl

A 50-year-old man was booked into the Garfield County Detention Facility Wednesday on suspicion he sexually abused a 13-year-old girl.

The girl told a friend she was being abused by David Michael Jackson. The friend then reported the abuse to police. A detective interviewed the child, who said the sexual abuse began four years ago.

The detective later interviewed Jackson and obtained a warrant for his arrest. He was taken into custody when he arrived at the Department of Human Services for a meeting. He's being held on $50,000 bond.

DHS removed three children from Jackson's home after the allegations surfaced.
