A memorial fund has been set up to help the widow and children of a Tulsa man killed in a motorcycle wreck.
Vance Templin was one day away from having health and life insurance at a new job when he was killed, according to uncle-in-law Sean Lottinville.
Templin was riding on 96th Street North near U.S. Highway 75 when he apparently swerved to avoid a car that was getting too close, Lottinville said. The 28-year-old lost control of the bike, left the roadway and hit a tree.
Although he was wearing a helmet, he died three days later as a result of head and neck injuries.
Templin is survived by his wife, Anna, and three young sons: Mason, 7; Samuel, 5, and Paul, 4.
A Vance Templin Memorial Fund has been set up at Bank of Oklahoma. Donations can be made to account number 308966542.
