BLANCHARD, Oklahoma -

A family of five, still frustrated over their trash removal company, spoke out Thursday after the company failed to pick up their garbage again. Signs for GGM Waste Removal can be seen throughout the Blanchard area advertising for business.

News 9 first reported the story weeks ago about GGM skipping trash collection at the Hazel family's house. Since then several viewer emails, phone calls and Facebook comments pointed out similar problems with the company.

"They've never picked it up and I can't talk to anyone again," said Aimee Hazel, a frustrated customer. "We've been picked up literally once-a-month since March."

Hazel said her family paid for bi-weekly pick-up service from GGM. News 9 was able to track down a representative from GGM Waste Removal who, in a phone call, said the Hazel never paid their bill. News 9 asked the Hazels for proof and they provided a statement that showed GGM received a payment of $53.35 in April.

That same statement also showed the Hazels still owed the same amount for May, something Aimee Hazel told News 9 up front.

"They still want us to pay the full amount for May and so we told them on Tuesday we were not going to pay the full amount until somebody came for a second time in May because that's the minimum we were paying for monthly."

The Hazels were not the only ones who lodged complaints against GGM. News 9 received several emails after the original story aired. One said, "I live in rural McClain county...both my family of five as well as my neighbor's family of four have not had our trashed picked up for more than three weeks."

Some of those GGM customers told News 9 their trash was finally picked up but others said they were still facing the same situation of weeks going by and no trash collection.

Aimee Hazel echoed her concerns, "It's not right to have to pay for something if you're not getting it."

News 9 checked GGM Waste Removal's record with the Better Business Bureau. Their online records showed the company had an "F" rating on a scale from A to F. The BBB cited a lack of response to two complaints as part of the reason for the failing grade.
