A judge denied bond Wednesday for a Midwest City man accused of beating and shooting a probation officer on May 19.

Lester Kinchion, 21, appeared via video before a judge Wednesday morning in an Oklahoma County courtroom. Police say Kinchion killed 32-year-old Jeff McCoy when the probation officer arrived at Kinchion's home to see his roommate for a probation and parole visit.

Kinchion's next court date is schedule for June 14.
