The Oklahoma City RedHawks fell to Albuquerque for the second game in a row by a final score of 11-9.

The RedHawks started off hot with a home run by Angel Sanchez in the first, but their lead didn't last long as the isotopes scored three runs of their own. Josh Fields tied the game with an RBI single and Matt Kemp followed with a two run shot to make it 3-1.

OKC cut the deficit to two thanks to Landon Powell's RBI single in the second, but Albuquerque plated another four runs in the third highlighted by Jeff Baisley's RBI double and a bases loaded walk making it 7-2.

In the fourth, the RedHawks got back into the game with a three-runs scored, including a two-run, two-out double by Brad Snyder to putting OKC within two.

In the eighth, OKC scored one off J.B. Shuck's groundout, but the Isotopes' Brian Cavazos-Galvez bolted a three-run homer making it 11-6.

The RedHawks rallied in the ninth as Carlos Corporan and Brian Bixler each drove in a run while a wild pitch plated another but it still came up short in their 11-9 loss.

OKC is now 28-23 on the season and they fall to 1.5 games behind Albuquerque in second place in the American Southern division.

The Isotopes starting pitcher Mike Parisi left the game with injury in the second inning. Shawn Tolleson (1-1) earned his first win with two scoreless innings.

OKC's Aneury Rodriguez took the loss after lasting just three innings on the mound. He surrendered seven runs on seven hits and five walks and is now 2-5 on the season.

The RedHawks start a 12-game homestand Tuesday at 7:05 against Nashville.
