Bricktown Business Owners Not Worried Post-Shooting

With the Big 12 Baseball Tournament already underway, and the Thunder coming back home next week for the Western Conference Finals, this is prime time for Bricktown Businesses to clean up.  The question now is, will they?

OKLAHOMA CITY - In the days after the shooting, the Thunder announced it's canceling the wildly popular watch party in Thunder Alley. The shooting also spurred concerns it would keep others from visiting Bricktown. 

With the Big 12 Baseball Tournament already underway, and the Thunder coming back home next week for the Western Conference Finals, this is prime time for Bricktown businesses to clean up.  The question now is, will they?

Fuzzy's Taco Shop moved in one month ago next to Harkins Theaters just south of Bricktown Ballpark and just north of where Fuzzy's Manager Kirkman Cadle saw the chaos Monday night.

Cadle says he wasn't aware the Thunder pulled the plug on Thunder Alley. However, Cadle feels that Thunder Alley's demise will be Fuzzy's gain.  And he's not alone. Bricktown Brewery owner Charles Stout says he was packed with Thunder Alley, and he'll be packed without it.

At the ballpark, John Provence says gunshots weren't going to stop him from driving from Del City to watch baseball.

Jeannette Smith directs the Bricktown Association. She says that she believes the shooting is an isolated incident. And still, some fans weren't even aware a shooting had even taken place.
