The Oklahoma State Cowboys wrapped up their regular season Saturday in disappointing fashion, falling to the Texas A&M Aggies 5-4 on a ninth-inning home run, ending the season with a four-game losing streak.

Oklahoma State led 4-2 in the top of the ninth and called upon Blake Barnes (5-5) to close the game out, however the Cowboys' closer struggled.

Barnes struck out the first batter, but followed by giving up a walk, a single and hitting a batter to load the bases with just one out on the board. Daniel Mengden came to bat and homered to left center field to take a 5-4 lead.

Barnes picked up a blown save and a loss for the outing, giving up just two hits and three earned runs in one inning of service. Ray Parker (2-1) received a win, not allowing a hit in his .2 innings of service for the Aggies.

Oklahoma State will now have to wait for the Big 12 Tournament, which starts Wednesday in Oklahoma City.
