Watch: Surveillance Video Shows Tulsa Bicycle Thief Face-Plant While Riding Away

A man was caught on surveillance video stealing an expensive bicycle early Wednesday morning from a south Tulsa bicycle shop. The video also caught him face-planting as he rides off with the bicycle.

The theft happened at the Spoke House at 67th Street and South Lewis Avenue.

The video shows the thief, dressed in a hooded sweatshirt, breaking in and attempting to steal an $1,800 bicycle, but then deciding instead on a $500 model.

As he was riding away, a surveillance camera at a nearby business caught him crashing off the bicycle.
