Police Chase Ends In Fiery Crash Near Jones

Police are searching for a suspect who crashed his car late Wednesday night while fleeing from an officer.

The officer tried to stop an El Camino for a traffic violation. The driver refused to pull over and sped away.

After a few minutes, the suspect crashed his car near Wilshire and Hiawasee Road in Jones. The driver jumped out and ran just before the car caught fire. He has not been caught.
