News 9 received reports that tornado sirens are being heard in parts of Oklahoma City on Sunday.
However, as of 12 p.m. Sunday, no severe weather have been reported in Oklahoma City. Residents in those areas do not need to be alarmed at this time.
A cold front approaching the state will bring a chance of severe storms Sunday afternoon and evening.

According to News 9 Meteorologist Matt Mahler, the cold front will interact with the warm and unstable air mass covering most of the state, which will bring an opportunity for severe storms.
The storms may bring large hail and damaging winds to parts of the state as well.
