A federal prosecutor says an Oklahoma couple has pleaded to stealing jet fuel military.

U.S. Attorney Sanford Coats says Doyle and Cynthia Latimer of Elgin pleaded guilty to conspiracy to defraud the United States.

Efforts on Saturday to contact attorneys for the couple were unsuccessful.

Prosecutors say Doyle Latimer owned and Cynthia Latimer kept business records for Latimer Trucking LLC -- which was subcontracted to deliver fuel to Air Force bases in Oklahoma and Texas.

Prosecutors say Doyle Latimer admitted to stealing the fuel to operate his company's trucks and that Cynthia Latimer admitted to creating false fuel receipts to cover-up the theft.
