After a search using police dogs and a helicopter, Oklahoma City police officers find and arrest a man for allegedly breaking into a home.
Gregory Adam Streater, 28, was arrested on burglary complaints. According to a police report, officers were called out to the 6100 block of S.E. 86th Street for a burglary in progress.
When officers arrived, Streater had already left the home. The police report stated Streater was dressed as a woman and inside the victim's house. The victim told police she was asleep in her room when she heard her dogs barking. When she got up to see what they were barking at, she noticed the back door standing open. Another person who was staying at the victim's home was asleep on the couch and also woke up. They told police they went to check the yard and house but found nothing so they went back to bed.
The house guest then stated that a few minutes after returning to bed, he heard someone walking through the living room and then felt someone touch his leg. That's when, according to the report, the victim grabbed Streater, pushed him into the bathroom and tried to keep him there until police arrived. Somehow Streater broke free and got out. The victims both stated Streater was wearing a woman's bathing suit, black wig and glasses.
Police said Streater took off and ran southbound through some neighbors' yards. A search was then conducted by police helicopter, Air One and police K9s. Streater was found a short time later hiding in a field south of the house.
Apparently, this isn't the first time Streater has been in trouble with the law while in women's attire. Oklahoma City police arrested him back in 2010 after police say he broke into his ex-mother-in-law's home wearing high heels and women's clothes.
