Oklahoma State defensive tackle Calvin Barnett was charged Tuesday with four driving-related misdemeanors after getting arrested following a traffic stop on Monday in Stillwater.
Barnett received one count each of driving under suspension, driving without insurance, speeding, and failing to register a vehicle within 30 days of purchase.
He was released from jail and will appear in court at a later date.
Barnett signed with Arkansas in 2010 of out Booker T. Washington High School in Tulsa. But he ended up played for two seasons at Navarro junior college in Corsicana, Texas.
He transferred to Oklahoma State from Navarro and is expected to make an immediate impact at the defensive tackle position for the Cowboys.
