Leading 7-2 in the bottom of the fifth with runners on first and second with two outs on the board, Shuck sent a line drive single to right field, bringing Paredes home to take a six-run advantage.
Two at-bats later, Martinez singled to left field, scoring Shuck and Landon Powell to push the lead to 10-2. Scott Moore followed with a double to left field to bring Sanchez home to score the final run of the game for the RedHawks.
Paul Clemens (2-1) picked up a win for the outing, giving up four hits, two earned runs and two walks, while striking out three in his five innings of service. Neil Ramirez (2-2) lasted just one full inning for the Express (10-13), giving up six earned runs on five hits.
