Former Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden was selected No. 22 overall by the Cleveland Browns, the team's second offensive pick of the night after selecting Trent Richardson No. 3 in the draft.

In just two seasons with the Cowboys, Weeden rewrote the record books, setting every major OSU passing record, completing 69 percent of his passes for 9,260 yards and 75 touchdowns, leading OSU to two of their most successful seasons in school history, including its first BCS Bowl win.

"Thank you to everyone who helped me get to where I am," Weeden said in a press release. "There were so many people along the way that I can't name them all. I'm honored to be in the position that I am. It's taken a lot of hard work and a lot of support from the people around me and I'm very thankful of that."

Additionally, Weeden holds the honor of beating the three quarterbacks selected before him in the first draft, Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin, III and Ryan Tannehill.

"Brandon Weeden is in my opinion, the biggest sleeper in this draft," Oklahoma State coach Mike Gundy said. "I think his performance speaks for itself – not only his statistics, but more importantly, his ability to win. He's won 23 games in two years."

Cleveland struggled in 2011 moving the ball, finishing the season 24th out of the 32 NFL teams in passing yards with 193.1 yards per game. The Browns have now brought in a replacement for running back Peyton Hillis and competition for quarterback Colt McCoy.
