Oklahoma City police are looking a woman who may have stabbed a man Monday near S.W. 43rd Street and Robinson.

Officers were called to the scene around 5 p.m., where they discovered the body of 33-year-old Jermal Turner. Police say the stabbing happened in broad daylight.

Police later learned Turner had an altercation with a woman just before the stabbing. She ran from the scene before officers arrived.

The area is well-known for criminal activity. Brian Bates, the creator of John TV, records video of prostitution in the area. He identified Turner as a pimp.

"He is a known pimp by the name of ‘Stacks.' He was out here working one or two prostitutes. He mouthed off to another group of prostitutes and pimps somebody in that group stabbed him then took off," Bates said.
