Firefighters Pull Man From Burning Home In Norman

A man was in critical condition Monday morning following a house fire in Norman.

The fire started around 10:30 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of S. Mercedes Drive. When firefighters arrived they found flames and smoke in the garage, which had been converted to a den.

Firefighters searched the home and found a man who'd collapsed in the hallway. He was rushed to a hospital, likely suffering from severe smoke inhalation.

Fire investigators don't know yet what started the fire.
