Oklahoma City firefighters came to the rescue after a metro family's puppy fell down a 20-foot well.
"We train for things every day but this is not something that we normally train for," said Maj. Tim Long with the Oklahoma City Fire Department.
The dog's owner, Nicolas Cadle, says he let his puppies out for just a few minutes, but little Nala somehow ended up at the bottom of the well.
"It took some planning and some trying, but they finally pulled her out," Cadle said.
Cadle called 911, and a group of firefighters and animal welfare officers responded.
They had to fashion their own rescue tool out of a 12 foot pole, but they were finally able to lasso the puppy and bring her to safety.
