The Woodward Tornado: A Recount Of Sunday Morning.

Posted: Updated:

Most I have spoke to, including Gary England and Marty Logan, agree and believe that Providence was in control of the events that occurred the morning of Sunday, April 15th.

Marty, a News 9 StormTracker of 18 years and former firefighter of 25 years for the city of Woodward, was the last line of defense for this town of 15,000 residents. He was at the right place, at the right time, and with the right experience to help save his home town.

With sirens not working, an after-prom party ending, and many people asleep as the clock struck 12:18 AM, this was a catastrophic event waiting to happen! It took just over nine minutes for the EF-3 tornado to carve a path across the west side of Woodward.

Let's listen in as Marty's gives his excellent, block by block, compelling and life-saving warning to the people of Woodward!
