A former nurse accused of sexually assaulting a 13-year-old boy has entered a plea just as her trial was supposed to start on Monday.

Amy Blose entered a plea of no contest to the rape charges against her. She is giving up her right to a jury trial.

A judge advised her that she would find her guilty as charged and that she faces up to five years to life in prison. A sentencing date is set for June 15.

Blose arrived to court wearing a black suit with a black and white shirt. Her ex-husband was in the courtroom for the plea, but he had no comment. Her family was also in court. They too had no comment.

Blose will have to serve at least 85 percent of her sentence and she will have to register as a sex offender.
