Two people were killed and another one was injured in a two-vehicle collision on State Highway 3 in McCurtain County Saturday afternoon.

It happened at 5:45 p.m. Saturday, on Highway 3, about three miles south of Haworth in McCurtain County.

A 2004 Chevy Impala driven by 29-year-old Joey Taylor was eastbound on Highway 3 when it swerved to the left for an unknown reason, according to Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers. The car struck a 2011 Honda driven by 59-year-old Peggy Bradley, which was westbound on Highway 3 at the time.

Joey Taylor's car then ran off the roadway to the left and rolled one and a quarter times. He was thrown about six feet from the vehicle during the crash.

Joey Taylor, of Broken Bow, Oklahoma, was pronounced dead at the scene from massive injuries. Troopers say Taylor was not wearing a seatbelt. His condition at the time of the collision is listed as "unknown" on the OHP collision report.

Peggy Bradley, of Texarkana, Texas, was transported to McCurtain Memorial Hospital in Idabel with arm, trunk and leg injuries. She was admitted in stable condition.

A passenger in Bradley's car, 57-year-old Waydean Waller of Nash, Texas, was transported to the McCurtain Memorial Hospital where she later died from trunk internal and head injuries.

Both Bradley and Waller were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash. Bradley's condition is listed as "apparently normal."

The cause of this collision is still under investigation.
