Several counties, including Alfalfa, Beckham, Blaine, Custer Counties, and more, are under a tornado watch Saturday evening.
The weather service says there is a high risk of severe thunderstorms through early Sunday near and east of a line from Woodward south to Weatherford and encompassing the entire Oklahoma City metropolitan area and Stillwater. Moderate and slight risks cover the rest of the state.
Forecasters say warm, moist and unstable air is in place over Oklahoma, and severe storms will be capable of producing violent and long-lived tornadoes.
