Vinita Police Cancel Silver Alert For Missing Woman

The Vinita Police Department has canceled a silver alert for a 74-year-old woman who was reported missing Friday afternoon.

Cloeta Tindle, who also goes by the name "Kitty," was last seen at 3:30 p.m. Friday at a house located at 829 N. Thompson in Vinita, Oklahoma. She was wearing a red shirt, dark pants and black shoes.

Police say Tindle may be violent if encountered. She suffers from Alzheimer's and is very disoriented. Tindle was under proven medical or physical disability and police believe she is in imminent danger of serious bodily injury or death.

Tindle was driving a 4-door, light blue, 2001 Buick with an Oklahoma License plate 201HKY.
