A lot of you were stunned that a student mural in Rhode Island was deemed objectionable by some at the school because it showed a traditional family.
Irma in Norman wrote:
"Good grief, I am so sick of political correctness. I say leave the mural that the child drew.
It is her vision of a perfect family."
David in Blanchard said:
"Since when did the standard family unit (a married man and woman) become so taboo in this country?"
And Courtney from Tuttle says:
"If someone were to draw two mommies or two daddies everyone with traditional values would be expected to accept it or it would be considered a huge controversy."
I also blasted those few Arkansas fans trying to mount a campaign to save their disgraced football coach.
That prompted Doug to write:
"If it was Stoops in those shoes, would you still throw the fans under the bus for wanting to keep their winning coach?"
But Wayne writes:
"I'm a die-hard Razorback fan living in Oklahoma City. I agree with your 2 cents whole-heartedly. Thanks for standing up for moral values over wins and losses."
Finally John from Bethany with the parting shot:
"I couldn't help but chuckle as I saw you sitting on your inflated ego lecturing Arkansas. No one from Oklahoma with the fanatical fan base it has is in a position to lecture any other school."
I'm Kelly Ogle and that's YOUR 2 Cents.
