The News 9 Weather Team is keeping a close eye on the radar due to the increased risk of severe weather across the state.
According to News 9 Meteorologist Matt Mahler, the storms will first appear in western Oklahoma. There's the possibility of strong winds, large hail, and a few tornadoes. Severe weather could possibly move into central Oklahoma overnight.

Friday, the severe risk includes western and central Oklahoma, with the same threats, just over a larger area.
Saturday, the severe risk will be maximized across central Oklahoma with all types of severe weather likely, including tornadoes. Sunday, the risk shifts into eastern Oklahoma.
