OKLAHOMA CITY – After a lone loss to start off the season, the RedHawks are now flying high with their fifth straight victory.

Similar to Monday night's game against the Sounds, Oklahoma City took down Nashville again with a couple of offensive bursts combined with solid pitching in a 5-1 win.

Once again, Nashville pulled off a lead to start the ballgame, carrying a 1-0 margin all the way through the middle of the fifth.

But the RedHawks got going in the bottom of the inning, as a pair of walks put Landon Powell and Scott Moore on first and second.

After a wild pitch advanced them further, Jed Lowrie eventually would drive them both home to take a 2-1 lead.

Though they didn't need it, the RedHawks flexed their muscles at the plate again in the bottom of the seventh, scoring three more runs.

Powell found the plate again, as did J.B. Shuck, on a fly ball double from Justin Ruggiano.

Fernando Martinez quickly followed it with a double of his own, bringing home Shuck for the final 5-1 margin.

Paul Clemens picked up the victory on the mound for Oklahoma City, throwing five innings and giving up five hits and a run.

Wily Peralta was credited with the loss for Nashville, which fell to 1-5 on the year.

OKC improved to 5-1 and will continue the four-game series with the Sounds on Wednesday. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
