Authorities arrested ten people for driving under the influence during two sobriety checkpoints in Norman on Friday, March 30.
Norman police, along with Cleveland County Sheriff's deputies and Absentee Shawnee Tribal Police, conducted the DUI checkpoints Friday night and early Saturday morning.
According to police, 39 officers, using two checkpoints and a mobile testing center, checked more than 750 vehicles during a four-hour period.
Ten people were arrested for driving under the influence.
Officers also made one arrest for possession of marijuana, and one for possession of drug paraphernalia.
