During the operation, officers attempted to check on 78 registered offenders. Agencies contacted 58 registrants plus family members who confirmed information.

Police arrested two registrants on outstanding warrants. Deputies also assisted the Department of Human Services in taking a child into protective custody.

Operation Spring Clean II ensures that all offenders residing in the county are in compliance with the Sex Offender Registration Act and assesses their risk of possibly re-offending.

Agencies also were able to verify that each sex offender registrant is obeying the law. Officers updated offenders' personal information and other key details.
