An armed robbery suspect running from police took a man hostage late Saturday in Tulsa. Police say the suspect was one of four men who robbed the Walgreens at Pine and Lewis at about 10 p.m.

Undercover deputies with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office pursued the men and called Tulsa police. Police officers arrested two of the suspects after stopping their car at the RK Food Mart at Utica and King, according to Sergeant August Terbrock, TPD.

One of the men fled into a neighborhood in the 1000 block of North Trenton.

"The suspect encountered a family and produced a firearm and took one of the male members of the family hostage in a trailer in the back yard," Terbrock said.

Officers were able to get the hostage out safely and arrest the suspect. They booked 19-year-old Joshua Dailey of Tulsa on three complaints of kidnapping, armed robbery and pointing a deadly weapon.

They recovered a semi-automatic handgun belonging to the robbery suspect after a search of the trailer.
