Little N'kya Cargile was rushed to the hospital on Monday, but died Tuesday morning. Her mother was out of town in Holdenville when it happened. She says she left little N'kya and her 4-year-old son with her boyfriend, who now stands accused of abusing and killing her.

N'kya Cargile would have celebrated her second birthday in June.

"She was everything to me," said Angel Cargile, N'kya's mother. "Every time you would see her she make your day bright."

Angel Cargile still can't believe her baby girl is gone. Reminders of her are everywhere.

I haven't slept since that I go to lay down and I hear her name, I hear her voice, I hear her calling me and I jump, and I look, and I know it's a nightmare, because she's not here," Cargile said.

But a piece of N'kya will live on. That's because Cargile made her an organ donor.

"Me and her daddy came to the conclusion to make her an organ donor, so we can save the next child," Cargile said.

But only N'kya's heart and kidneys will be able to be donated.

"She had old broken bones, new broken bones, spinal cord broken, fractured skull. And I was told by the nurse if she did make it through, she'd be a vegetable," Cargile said.

Police have arrested Cargile 's boyfriend, Roderick Jackson, for the crime. A crime she never thought he'd be capable off, despite his criminal past.

But court papers claim N'kya's brother told investigators Jackson punched both him and N'kya in the stomach on several occasions. But Cargile says he never told her.

"I never seen no signs that my kids were afraid of this man, because I never did see no signs," Cargile said.

Now as she mourns the death of her daughter, she wishes she had.

Funeral arrangements for N'kya are pending.

Police said 34-year-old Roderick Jackson is currently being held without bond in the Oklahoma County jail on one count of abuse and one count of first degree murder. He has not been formally charged.
