Bobbi Parker, the 49-year-old woman who was convicted of helping a killer escape from an Oklahoma prison where her husband was a warden, has been released from prison.

Parker walked out of Oklahoma City's Hillside Community Correctional Center around 1 a.m. Thursday. A jury convicted her in September 2011 of helping Randolph Franklin Dial escape from the Oklahoma State Reformatory in Granite in 1994. Parker was sentenced to one year in prison, but was released after serving a little more than half of that time.

Parker and Dial were found in April 2005 living as a married couple on a chicken farm in Texas. Parker said Dial kidnapped her and she only stayed with him out of fear. Before he died in 2007, Dial said he had indeed kidnapped Parker and forced her to stay with him.

Parker's husband, Randy Parker, still works for the state prison system and the two are still married. Bobbi Parker's attorney has not said where she was taken after her release.
