A police chase through Oklahoma City comes to a dramatic end Monday morning when a car plunges into a creek.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. near S.W. 44th Street and South Agnew Avenue.

Police arrested Brentley Mueller, 28, and Nicole Chavez, 37, after their car crashed into a concrete culvert. Police say Mueller was driving and refused to pull over for officers. Police wanted to question him about a fight at a nearby convenience store involving a baseball bat.

Mueller led police on a brief pursuit before crashing into the culvert. Police say Mueller was arrested on a number of traffic tickets and is also wanted on some felony warrants. Chavez was a passenger in the car. She also had several outstanding warrants. Another female passenger was taken to the hospital but is expected to be okay.
