A man and a woman from Chickasha were killed in a wrong-way crash on U.S. Highway 62 in Grady County Saturday night.

A man and a woman from Chickasha were killed in a wrong-way crash on U.S. Highway 62 in Grady County Saturday night.

It happened at 9:33 p.m. on U.S. 62, near CS 2790 in Grady County.

A 1977 ASVE Trike driven by 50-year-old James Edward Robinson was going east in the westbound lanes of Highway 62. It struck a Chevy Malibu driven by 20-year-old Jake Trenton Reeves head-on, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol collision report.

Reeves' car was westbound on Highway 62 at that time.

Robinson, along with a passenger in his vehicle, 48-year-old Pamela Annette Robinson, were pronounced dead at the scene. Neither was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash, troopers said.

Jake Reeves of Anadarko, Oklahoma, was not injured. A passenger in his car, Crystal Marie Sanchez, was also okay. Both were wearing seatbelts.

According to the collision report, Robinson's condition at the time of the crash is listed as "unknown." And Reeves was in apparently normal condition.

The cause of the collision is listed as "wrong way on one way."
