OKLAHOMA CITY -

Police say alcohol may have played a role in a car accident in south Oklahoma City, Saturday Afternoon.

The accident happened around 3 p.m. on Western, just south of Interstate-40.

Police say the driver of a van suddenly swerved into oncoming traffic and hit a SUV.

Both drivers were injured. The one who swerved was in critical condition Saturday night.
