There was a late rush Friday night to grab a shot at the $640-million Mega Millions jackpot.

People flocked to the Love's Truck Stop on I-35 and 122nd to buy tickets when they got off work.

By five p.m. Friday, Love's had already sold almost 3,000 Mega Millions tickets.  They usually sell 150 in an entire day.

And even though the odds of winning were 1 in 176 million, ticket buyer Andy Jones still had hope.

"Winning the lottery, getting eaten by a shark, you are ten times more likely to be eaten by a shark.  That would probably happen before I win the money.  And I swam in the ocean many times," said Jones.

If no one wins tonight, the Mega Millions prize could go up to $975 million for next Tuesday drawing
