OKLAHOMA CITY -- Police have released the name of a man who was hit and killed in a hit-and-run crash at a liquor store parking lot near N.W. 10th Street and Western Avenue in Oklahoma City on Tuesday.

Police and witnesses say Lee Michael Day, 38, was sitting along an exterior wall of the liquor store right before a car hit him and pinned him against the wall.

Daniel Huff witnessed the incident and says it's something he hopes he never sees again. But he keeps replaying it in his mind.

"I could see all the way through his leg and it was a horrible, horrible sight," said Huff.

Huff says he dialed 911 and told the driver of the late 1980's white Plymouth or Dodge sedan to wait for police. Huff says the driver looked right back at him.

"I looked him in the eye," Huff recalled. "And he looked at me kind of like a killer, knew I was calling 911 for help and got out as fast as he could possibly get out of here."

Huff says it was clear Lee Michael Day wasn't going to live. He thought about not letting the man who police say killed Day leave.

"If I had a pocket knife I would have busted both his tires," said Huff.

Police say one man and one woman were in the car that struck the victim. They are still searching for them.

Officers say the suspects' vehicle is a white late 1980's four-door Plymouth or Dodge with Oklahoma tag 120DPM. If you see the car, call police.
