The Oklahoma State Cowgirls continue post season tournament Thursday hosting Missouri State with hopes of making the WNIT quarterfinals.

OSU, the only college team in the state still alive in post season play, has won two straight since losing to Missouri in the Big 12 tournament.

The Cowgirls defeated Central Arkansas 72-51 in the first round of play and advanced to take down Wichita State 63-44 behind 21 points from Tiffany Bias and 18 points from Toni Young to propel them to this point.

Oklahoma State (18-12, 8-10) is 14-3 on the home floor and a win over Missouri State would tie the school's single-season home win record.

Missouri State (24-8, 14-4) is playing its first ever WNIT road game and enters the matchup having won 14 of its last 16 games including an 82-65 win over Memphis in the second round last Saturday.

The two teams met earlier this season in December when Oklahoma State rolled to an 80-57 victory.

The Cowgirls will look to their three double-figure scorers for another big performance against the Lady Bears. Bias averages 12.8 points and 6.5 assists per game, Big 12 Freshman of the Year Liz Donohoe averages 12.2 points and 7.2 rebounds, while Toni Young adds an average of 10.7 points and 6.9 boards per contest.

Another key is for the defense to limit its opponents production, much like it has all season. The Cowgirls allow opponents to shoot just 34.9 percent on the year.

MSU's Casey Garrison enters the contest averaging 15.9 points and 5.2 rebounds for the Lady Bears.

As a team, the Cowgirls average 65.2 points and allow 58.7 while shooting 39.1 percent overall, 30 percent on three-pointers and 69.5 percent from the foul line.

Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. Thursday March 22 in Stillwater.
