Police Investigate Fatal Shooting In Norman

Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead at a Norman home Sunday.

Just after 12 a.m. Sunday, Norman police officers, along with the Norman Fire Department, responded to a medical call at a house, located at 1900 Barkley Street. Officers discovered the body of an 18-year-old male as they arrived at the scene.

Police said the 18-year-old was the victim of an apparent gunshot.

Authorities have not released the name of the victim at this point.
