A natural gas leak forced the evacuation of one Oklahoma City business. The leak was reported at N.W. 42nd Street and I-235 Wednesday morning.

The leak forced the staff at Kimray to evacuated the building as a precaution. According to Kimray officials, the business was making additions to the campus which required a realignment of a sewer line. Around 10:30 a.m. the sewer contractor hit a gas line.

The company immediately notified the Oklahoma City Fire Department and Oklahoma Natural Gas.

"We are thankful for their urgency and commend them on their quick response time," said Joshua Fahrenbruck, corporate communications for Kimray. "At Kimray, safety is a top priority and we are thankful no one was injured."

Oklahoma Natural Gas has shut off the valve. No injuries are reported.
