Woman Arrested After Allegedly Running Over Prevention Officer In OKC

According to a police report, Shakietha Thompson, 32, allegedly ran over a loss prevention officer who was trying to stop her for shoplifting.

A woman is arrested in Oklahoma City after she allegedly ran over a grocery store's loss prevention officer.

It happened at the Crest store located at 11120 N. Rockwell Avenue. According to a police report, Justin Carson Blackwell, 27, attempted to stop Shakietha Thompson, 32, from leaving the store with stolen merchandise. Witnesses told police that Blackwell followed the woman out of the store where they believe they saw Thompson run over the officer twice.

Blackwell told police he was trying to stop her as she walked to her car after he saw her steal cough syrup and other items from the store. He claims Thomson also bit him during the confrontation.
