OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Girl Scouts are 100 years young this week. And to mark the organization's 100th anniversary, Girl Scout troops across the 39 counties in Western Oklahoma celebrated in many ways - from birthday parties to city proclamations.

The Girl Scouts from several different troops presented a gift basket of goodies to a future Girl Scout born at INTEGRIS Baptist Medical Center on Monday.

Emma Parsons was born at 8:05 Monday morning. She weighed 7 pounds 12 ounces and was 22 inches long. Her parents, Chelsea and Ryan Parsons, were thrilled to receive the Girl Scout gift.
