A 15-year-old boy, accused of raping a girl at Norman North High School, is now facing additional charges.

Prosecutors filed the charges of lewd molestation and indecent proposal to a child last month.

The student is also facing charges of rape and forcible sodomy after a Norman North High student told police she was raped.

The victim said it happened in one of the school's locker rooms late last December. According to court documents, the girl said she tried to fight off the male student, but he continued to rape her.

The boy told investigators the two had consensual sex, not at school, but investigators say they recovered evidence contrary to that. Norman police say it's not often a minor would be charged as an adult.

The boy will turn 16 years old soon, but the District Attorney is treating this case as an adult right now. The teen is scheduled to be in court next week.
