Oklahoma Deputies Arrest Man After Brief Pursuit

According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, Christopher Vick admitted to deputies he drank alcohol and smoked meth before getting behind the wheel.

A pursuit in the metro ends with the arrest of a suspect who admitted to drinking alcohol and smoking meth.

According to the Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office, Christopher Vick, 41, admitted to deputies that he drank alcohol and smoked meth before getting behind the wheel.

Deputies said they tried stopping Vick Tuesday while driving on S.E. 46th Street, but he refused to stop and took off driving into oncoming traffic. The pursuit finally came to an end at S.W. 104th Street and Walker Avenue when Vick's vehicle spun out.

Vick was arrested and is currently being held at the Oklahoma County Detention Center on a $4,500 bond. He faces complaints of eluding an officer, obstruction, driving under suspension after a felony conviction, reckless driving and driving under the influence of drugs.

Vick was also driving with a suspended license.
