Bomb Squad Deems Suspicious Suitcase In OKC Safe

OKLAHOMA CITY -

The Oklahoma City Police Department's bomb squad has cleared an area in downtown where a suspicious package was discovered Tuesday morning.

An unattended suitcase was found in front of a city office building located at 420 West Main Street. A city worker noticed the suitcase around 7:30 a.m. and called police.

The bomb squad has deemed the suitcase safe. Main Street between Walker and Hudson Avenues are now open.
