Fast Moving Grass Fires Moved Across Oklahoma
OKLAHOMA CITY - Fast moving grassfires moved across the state Sunday, burning land and threatening homes. Much of the state is under a Red Flag Warning because of warm temperatures and high winds.
One of those fires in Noble burned about 20 acres. There were no structures reported lost in that fire.
There were also several fires near Yale in Payne County that destroyed one mobile home and an out building. Firefighters got some help from above attacking the fire.
And here a grassfire in Broken Arrow shut down several off-ramps from the Creek Turnpike. The 20 mile-per-hour wind gusts were making it difficult to get the fire under control.
