OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City police have released the name of a man who was shot and killed by a woman who said the suspect tried to break into her house Wednesday night.

The woman called 911 around 10:15 p.m. and reported she'd just shot a man who was trying to force his way into her home near S.W. 51st Street and S. Walker Avenue.

When police arrived at the house, they found the body of the alleged intruder, 24-year-old Jose Hernandez. The victim told officers she'd never seen Hernandez before he tried to break into her home.

Police are still investigating the shooting.
