Former Oklahoma defensive end Frank Alexander was held out of combine workouts Tuesday, due to a heart condition of which he was previously unaware, according to his personal Twitter account.

At 9 p.m. Monday, Alexander tweeted "Headed back to Florida! Had a good week at the combine," and when asked about his results by a fan responded "I didn't get to perform" "I had a heart condition I didn't know abt [sic]."

Alexander had been projected to be a late-round pick, but contributed for four years for the Sooners, even starting in five games his freshman season. After a further evaluation and possible treatment, Alexander could still compete at the Sooners' Pro Day on March 14.
