Emergency managers from across Oklahoma will meet Tuesday to make sure all agencies know what to do during a major disaster.
State and local emergency management agencies will gather in Oklahoma City to participate in the exercise. It was developed by the Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management and Oklahoma Office of Homeland Security.
Oklahoma is well known for severe storms, tornadoes and wildfires. Recently, earthquakes have also shaken the state. Emergency managers will work through several fictional scenarios featuring all those events. They want to test the ability of agencies to communicate and coordinate response during disasters.
