Two big innings propelled the Oklahoma State Cowboys to a 13-3 win over the Bowling Green State Falcons Saturday, the Cowboys' fourth consecutive win of the season.

After the Falcons put up two runs on a pair of RBI singles in the top of the second inning, the Cowboys responded to take a big lead.

With runners on second and third in the bottom of the second, Wes Jones singled to right field, putting runners on the corners and cutting the deficit to one run. Gabe Weidenaar followed with a sacrifice fly to right field to bring Zach Fish home and tie the game.

Two batters later with runners on second and third, Robbie Rea doubled to left center, bringing Aaron Cornell and Jones to take a 4-2 lead.

Oklahoma State held a comfortable, but not completely safe, 7-3 lead in the top of the seventh, but put the game away in that frame.

After Hunter Bailey drew a leadoff walk, Mark Ginther homered to left field to take a six-run advantage with no outs on the board. Three at-bats later with runners on second and third, Weidenaar doubled to center field to bring both home and take an 11-3 lead. Brandon Bass followed with a single to center field to bring him home and take a nine-run advantage.

Two batters later, Rea singled through the left side to bring Bass home and make it an even 10-run lead for the Cowboys.

Chase Stevens (2-0) came in for OSU in the fifth inning and rolled through the Bowling Green batters, not allowing a hit, walking two and striking out 13 batters. Falcons' starter Patrick Martin (0-1) was credited with a loss, giving up five earned runs in four innings pitched.

The Cowboys will try to pull off the series sweep at 1 p.m. Sunday, before returning home to take on Missouri State.
